BRIT-award winning boy band, Blue, will be headlining the opening concert of Bournemouth Air Festival’s Night Air at The Piers event tonight.
They may look a little different from their boy band glory days– bigger biceps and more facial hair- but the boys are ready to take the Bournemouth crowd by storm.
Blue dominated the charts in the early 2000s with three albums topping the charts and 11 top ten singles including One Love, All Rise and Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word with Elton John.
The group consisting of Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan, Duncan James and Antony Costa had mixed solo success in recent years but once again joined forces for the Eurovision song contest in 2011. Blue will be performing alongside X-factor stars Diana Vickers, Lucy Spraggan and feisty girl group Stooshe at the Boscombe pier stage.
Pop-rockers, The Feeling are back from the wilderness with a whole new lease of life for their performance at Bournemouth Air Festival’s Night Air at The Piers tonight.
The quintessentially English five-piece band burst into the music charts in 2005 with the rousing Fill My Little World, followed by hit singles Never be Lonely, Sewn and Love it When you Call.
Back with a brand new album, Boy Cried Wolf, The Feeling will be performing alongside boy band favourites Blue, Stooshe and Diana Vickers at the Boscombe Pier stage.
Lead guitarist Kevin Jeremiah said: “We’re the same band, with the same spirit, but a slightly more grown up feel.
“We can’t wait to play in Bournemouth because it always feels like a local gig for us. All our family and friends tend to come down and we always get a great crowd.”
The Feeling will be playing a mixture of old favourites from their debut album 12 Stops and Home along with material ranging from dark ballads to upbeat pop from Boy Called Wolf.
London trio Stooshe are also ready to bring the sound of the summer to Bournemouth Air Festival’s Night Air at The Piers tonight. The vivacious ladies will be strutting their stuff and storming the stage with hit singles, Black Heart, My Man Music and Waterfalls.
Black Heart peaked at number three in the singles chart and their debut album London with the Lights Out debuted at number 8 in the UK Albums Chart in June.
Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold, who make up the successful three-piece, will be joined on Boscombe Pier by The Feeling and boy band favourite Blue.
Tickets are available at the BH Live website: bhlivetickets.co.uk and the event starts at 6.45pm.
