MULTI-platinum selling guitar virtuoso, Newton Faulkner, is joining the star-studded line-up on Saturday’s Night Air at the Piers.
His fourth album, Studio Zoo, which was released on August 26, will be making history as the recording will be streamed online 24/7 for the next five weeks.
The singer-songwriter’s appearance comes hot on the heels of his performance on the main stage at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
Newton joins the impressive line-up on the Saturday night, which includes Irish rockers Kodaline, Gabriella Cilmi and new girl band Neon Jungle.
Feisty girl band, Neon Jungle, is promising to shake things up as they get ready to storm the stage on Saturday’s Night Air at the Piers. Their debut single, Trouble has already amassed 500,000 YouTube hits and will be released on September 1, the day after their Boscombe pier performance.
The band is made up of Jess Plummer, Asami Zdrenka, Amira McCarthy and Shereen Cutkelvin.
“There’s a lot of jumping around on stage.
“We’ll be playing two or three songs and we have a very diverse album in the pipeline, so you can expect the unexpected.
“We’ve done a few live shows before and the buzz you get off the crowd is amazing. You also never feel lonely with the four of us on stage and we get that support from each other.”
The girls are in good company as they join Irish rock band Kodaline, singer-songwriter Kodaline, boy band Loveable Rogues and Gabriella Cilmi.
Irish rockers, Kodaline, will also be charming the crowd on Saturday’s Night Air at the Pier’s for the Bournemouth Air Festival. One of this year’s true breakthrough stories, their debut album ‘In A Perfect World’ rocketed into the Top Ten on its release this summer.
The alternative rock group has high hopes for the evening’s concert as they join Newton Faulkner, girl group Neon Jungle, Lisa Stansfield and new group the Loveable Rogues.
Tickets are on sale via the BH Live website, priced at £7, with limited numbers left for each night.
Gates open at Boscombe Pier each day at 6pm, with the show running until 10pm.
