TAKING their name from The Jam track Eton Rifles, London mod rockers The Rifles pay a visit to the Old Fire Station on Sunday night.
The band released their third studio album Freedom Run last year, with the new material going down a storm on the road so far.
The album was recorded at Paul Weller’s studio Black Barn and produced by Chris Potter, who has worked with The Clash, The Stones and The Verve. Three albums in and The Rifles are showing that they’re not only here to stay but are destined to achieve greatness.
From light and fun-tinged pop symphonies through to the raucous soul-inflected heartfelt pop-rock, The Rifles’ fresh, revitalised sound has given them a fanbase that continues to sell out venues wherever they play.
