LOVE her or loathe her, singer Cher Lloyd has bags of attitude. Her Sticks and Stones tour arrives at the O2 Academy Bournemouth on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old rocketed to fame after appearing on last year’s X Factor with her edgy and often bizarre performances on the televised talent show, finishing fourth.
In August, Cher landed the number one spot in the charts with her debut single, Swagger Jagger. However, Cher quickly became a victim of online bullying and her music career continues to divide popular opinion.
Many of the comments and threats directed towards Cher focus on her Romany heritage – something she has always been proud of.
The indomitable Cher rallied the world’s top pop producers last year and released her debut album Sticks and Stones.
“The album is like a jukebox. Lots of different sounds and no two songs sound the same.
“I’ve put a lot into the album and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the songs live,” says Cher.
The singer will be joined on stage by special guests SD-JEM, a brother and sister duo from North London.
