THE results are in, as the Dorset Music Awards reached its conclusion for 2012 at the O2 Academy Bournemouth.
The main event was the highly coveted Best Live Act award, which gives winners exposure to major opportunities in the industry, festival slots, recording time, and Radio 1 airplay.
This year it was the turn of five-piece band Peace, Love and Gloves who scooped the prestigious prize.
Winners of other categories include Disco’s Out (Murder’s In) for One Great Song, Constellation for Favourite Album/EP and Poole venue Mr Kyp’s winning Favourite Venue.
While Hope FM picked up biggest contribution to the music scene.
