The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a bang at a Bank Holiday fireworks party on June 4. Meyrick Park will resound with the best classical and film music – plus a fantastic firework display.
The Orchestra has played throughout the reigns of no less than six monarchs – when it first played in Bournemouth, nearly 120 years ago, Queen Victoria was on the throne.
Tickets are available at £22 each (£26 on the day) and a variety of concession prices are also available. Gates open for picnics at 6pm and the concert will start at 8pm. Tickets are available by calling the BSO on 01202 669 925; Lighthouse, Poole on 0844 406 8666; or the BIC Ticket Shop on 0844 249 1812. Tickets are also available online at bsolive.com.
