KERRY Katona has been announced by the organisers of Bourne Free – Bournemouth’s Pride Festival as one of the headline acts for July 14.
The singer and TV personality will open the evening’s entertainment on stage and will sing later in the evening.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Royalty’ to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.
Katona is probably best known for her television work, predominantly in light entertainment and reality shows where she won the third series I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of here and was runner-up of Celebrity Big Brother 2011.
She has also been a pop singer with girl group Atomic Kitten, a magazine columnist, an actress, and the author of ghostwritten books that include an autobiography and several novels.
The Bourne Free Pride festival starts this year on Saturday, July 14 with a parade, then live family entertainment at the bandstand in the afternoon, followed by live entertainment on the stage in the triangle from 7pm onwards. Sunday includes a church service at the triangle, followed by numerous events in the Triangle.
