ONCE upon a time, Rizzle Kicks – Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule – were goofy local pub rap battlers with a humorous mixtape peddling lyrics of teenage tomfoolery over indie band instrumentals. Now the boys are selling out venues left right and centre across the land after a string of top five hits.
Now those lucky fans in Bournemouth with tickets are set to get down with the trumpets when Rizzle Kicks perform at the O2 Academy Bournemouth on Tuesday evening. The duo, whose hits include When I Was A Youngster and Mama Do The Hump, will be appearing with support from MC Mikill Pane whos has recently collaborated with Ed Sheeran.
The boys, who shot to fame last year, were nominated for a Brit Award this year for their hit, Heart Skips A Beat, with Olly Murs. The stars, who have released their debut album, Stereo Typical are also set to play at Camp Bestival.
