FROM their uncertain beginnings as a group 'thrown together' from solo artists on the X Factor, to now packing venues in their first tour, Little Mix's assent to fame has been swift and impressive - and their army of 'Little Mixers' certainly want to show how much they love them.
Part-way through their tour, the cute but feisty foursome rocked the BIC's Windsor Hall on Saturday night with a mix of the covers that won them the X Factor (Superbass, E.T), combined with tracks from their debut album DNA.
Hip 'girls next door' in crop tops, baggy jeans and an endless range of 'kickin' trainers, they 'kicked-off' with We Are Who We Are, which is all about being true to how you areand ignoring 'beautiful' stereotypes and seems to be the ethos of this band, who list TLC, En Vogue and Sugababes as their heroes.
Indeed, they even performed a section of their show in homage to the bands which have inspired them (which many of the mums in the audience recognised more than the fans!) Sassy, not overtly-sexy, fun and giggly, but not sugary, Little Mix seem to have the right mix when it comes to combining personality, a great look and some fab vocals.
And Jessy, Leigh- Anne, Perrie and Jade also seemed to be having a great time too, with songs like Going Nowhere, Change and Red Planet getting their fans up with them on their feet throughout.
Little Mix - Big show.
