IT’S a tale as old as time – so the song goes – and Swish of the Curtain’s latest production certainly kept the magic alive.
A slick, professional show performed by a well-trained team of young talent, which kept an audience half filled with little girls enthralled for two hours.
On a par with a version of the show I saw in the West End several years ago, this production used all the same illusions to great effect.
The show featured all the favourite numbers such as Be Our Guest and Beauty and the Beast, as well as a few new songs, which all served to showcase the impressive vocals of the main characters, who could have stepped straight off a London stage.
Elaborate costumes and a clever set all served to add to the professional feel of the show.
Entertaining, enjoyable and enchanting!
