EVERY girl loves dressing up, and The Elephant Bridesmaid let the little ones indulge in their favourite fantasy.
With theatre-goers encouraged to arrive in fancy dress, there was opportunity for parading around the stage during this delightful show, which told the tale of weddings, wombats and an elephant in need of a dress!
Based on a story from the best selling book How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales, the show transported the audience from a teenager’s bedroom to the jungle.
Songs and games accompanied the search for the perfect dress, with clever tricks and audience participation along the way.
Lots of enthusiasm from the two-person team, playing a variety of human and animal characters, made for a fantastically fun show for families.
My two daughters were enthralled!
