CHEESY songs, dance routines, glittery hot pants and Glee covers – it could only be Steps.
It’s been ten years since the five-some took to the stage, but it felt like stepping back in time hearing those classic hits once again.
As the opening bars of Deeper Shade of Blue began, a roar went up from the packed crowd, with many showing that they hadn’t forgotten those classic dance moves.
It was a similar story with Last Thing On My Mind, Love’s Got A Hold of My Heart and Better Best Forgotten, quickly followed by Summer of Love and Better the Devil You Know.
Claire, Faye, Lisa, ‘H’ and Lee each had a chance to show off their singing talents in the solo section and it was clear a few singing lessons have taken place in the last decade, with each of them proving they had a pretty decent voice.
A few slower numbers, then it was back to the hits – and those all important dance moves – with Stomp, Chain Reaction and, of course, Tragedy.
A great fun, high energy show which went down a storm with the flashing horn and glittery cowboy hat set. Simply Steptacular!
