A NEW Channel 4 cooking series called The Taste is on the hunt for Britain’s most naturally gifted cook.

The show is a national culinary contest that puts taste at the forefront of the show.

Whether the contestants work in the food industry already or cook at home, we want creative and passionate people who think they have what it takes to be crowned Britain’s most naturally gifted cook.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about food, who has a creative flare and who wants to try a new challenge.

The brand new C4 series, based on the US hit format, will see Nigella Lawson and her fellow judges, American chef Anthony Bourdain and French chef Ludo Lefebvre, battle it out to find the The Taste's first British winner.

Contestants will be challenged to please the palates of the professionals with just one spoonful of food, and with all tastings performed blind the pressure is on to make one small, but perfect, serving.
