THE Brit in Ashley Cross, Poole, celebrated its first anniversary with a host of events, starting with a private party with the Mayor of Poole Cllr Peter Adams.
The Brit, which has just won a Family Friendly Award, will be launching the Westwood Restaurant which will have new fresh dishes every week and a monthly food club.
It will also be starting an event showcasing cuisine from around the world including a Spanish night on Friday, March 20 and a St George’s Day Medieval banquet on Thursday, April 23.
Owner Marianne Brown said: “We would like to thank everyone who has helped make The Brit possible. It has a been a fantastic and very busy 12 months and the year ahead looks exciting.
“The Westwood Restaurant will host delicious menus with local produce and we aim to be the venue for private parties and a place to be for all ages.
