CONJURE up a delicious celebrity pink feast' for your friends and family this October and help raise funds for the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Celebrities including diet and health guru Rosemary Conley and TV presenter Fern Britton, not to mention her culinary other half Phil Vickery, and chefs Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver and Ainsley Harriott, have all revealed their most mouth-watering ideas in The Pink Cookbook, proceeds from which will benefit the charity.
Recipes for every occasion, from breakfast and light bites, to exotic dinners feature alongside quotes from the contributors and histories of the recipes. Indulge in a slice of Phil Vickery's Carrot Cake, savour a scoop of Anthony Worrall-Thompson's Green Tea Ice-Cream or delight in Rick Stein's Steamed Mussels with Tomato and Tarragon.
Among the star-studded contributors is the former star of TV's Holby City, Lisa Faulkner, who gives her mum's recipe for shortbread biscuits. She's supporting The Pink Cookbook because her mum died of cancer when she was just 16.
Exercise and diet expert, Rosemary Conley supplied her favourite recipe for Green Thai Chicken Curry.
Rosemary commented: "I've given this recipe in support of my friend, Gwen Cherry, who had breast cancer 20 years ago. She is now fighting fit and still helps me at my diet and fitness classes every week."
There are more than 200 feel-good recipes for food and drinks in the book gathered from ordinary people, as well as the famous, who've been touched by the disease in some way.
Why not plan your own pink fund-raising feast?
