WHAT better way to treat someone special or indulge a loved one than cooking up a delicious breakfast in bed, courtesy of celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli?

The sexy super-chef has teamed up with Silentnight to launch the first ever Big Breakfast in Bed month this November.

"It's a shame, but these days we are not spending enough time enjoying food," commented Jean-Christophe.

"Many people don't even spend time making themselves breakfast in the morning, which isn't good at all. Enjoying breakfast in bed is the ultimate way to start your day, spending quality time with a loved one or maybe alone in peace, away from the kids!"

According to a recent survey stressed-out Brits are too tired to enjoy a leisurely breakfast from the comfort of their boudoire. Over half of UK adults said they hadn't enjoyed breakfast in bed for over a year, despite the fact that 73 per cent agreed that they love to do it.

Hectic lives, family commitments and household chores are blamed for the lack of brekkie between the sheets. But 68 per cent of mums questioned said breakfast in bed would be the best present from their kids, with 43 per cent of men admitting that it would be a romantic gesture from someone special. So why not treat a loved one to a lie-in once a week throughout the entire month of November? Jean-Christophe has created five mouth-watering, easy-to-follow recipes for every possible taste, cooking ability and lifestyle, so there's no excuse not to enjoy a heart-warming start to the day this winter.

"My recipes prove that it doesn't have to be a luxury we do once a year, it can be a treat that you fit into your weekly routine. It's a romantic thing to do for someone special or a way to show a friend or parent how much you appreciate them."
