FOODIES can come together at a new networking event called Open Sandwich.
The gathering, which launches at The Larderhouse, Southbourne, is the brainchild of food writer and general manager of Badger & Bumble deli, Nick Baines, and will be a regular and informal meeting place for like-minded, inquisitive and hungry individuals.
The main thrust of the event is to create a local food and drink community that is open to all, whether you work in or around food, or just simply love to eat and drink.
It’s also the ideal place to make useful contacts if you’re thinking of taking a leap into the industry; whether you’re a wannabe chef or have plans to start a small-scale food production.
Open Sandwich is a roaming event and will be hosted by different people and in different venues each time.
The first Open Sandwich will be hosted by The Larderhouse on Tuesday June 21.
There will be a small registration form to fill in on arrival at each event to make sure everyone is kept informed of future shindigs.
