THE Green Room restaurant is proof that luxury dining and eco-consciousness can happily co-exist. The privately owned Grade II Victorian villa on Grove Road has been transformed with an investment in excess of £5 million into the UK’s greenest boutique hotel, providing a sumptuous setting.
Producing food of exquisite quality, served with quiet confidence in charming surroundings, the restaurant provides Bournemouth with a unique culinary experience.
While the menu draws on influences from many nations, it is sourced locally from the south west which is the essence of The Green Room.
Under head chef Andy Hilton’s expert supervision, the team uses fresh ingredients from suppliers within 50 miles of the restaurant where feasible.
With a keen eye on the ethical details, Andy delivers original and continuously changing menus without ever compromising on taste.
The restaurant’s new a la carte menu offers three fine-dining courses for an affordable £28. For a true gastronomic adventure try the critically acclaimed six-course tasting menu. Each of the six courses is a piece of art on the plate and an explosion of flavours on the tongue, and at only £35 person it is very good value for money.
The Green Room’s wine list is comprised exclusively of organic wines and has been created taking into account the carbon footprint of every bottle.
The restaurant is open every day for breakfast and dinner and a lighter Comfort Food menu is available throughout the day in the bar and garden.
Now you can enjoy a fine dining with a clear conscience.
