WITH direct access to Britain’s best beach, Sandbanks, The Sea View restaurant based in The Sandbanks Hotel couldn’t be any closer to the sea without getting wet. This prime location for a beach-side dining experience is a relaxed affair and perfect for an intimate meal or family get together.
With stunning views of Poole Bay, this award-winning AA red rosette restaurant serves up a seasonal menu which is created by executive head chef Stephane Jouan. Sourcing the freshest ingredients from Dorset’s best and most reputable suppliers, the menu changes on a daily basis and includes seafood, meat and vegetarian options.
During the summer, the restaurant hosts a barbecue on its beachside terrace. Stephane joined the Sea View restaurant as executive head chef last summer with more than 20 years’ experience.
Trained in the UK, Stephane has extensive experience with working in Michelin star and AA Rosette restaurants and began working with the FJB Collection in 2000 at The Haven Hotel and subsequently The Harbour Heights Hotel before taking up his most recent position at the Sea View restaurant.
Open for dinner from 7pm, Monday to Saturday, the restaurant team is headed by Joseph Martins as restaurant manager and diners can choose from an a la carte menu. The restaurant also serves up a superb Sunday lunch set menu, between 12pm and 3pm, priced at two-courses for £14.95 or three for £19.95. Sunday lunch diners will be entertained by different live music every week from professional solo singers and guitarists to harpists and saxophonists.
If you’re looking to chill out in a stunning setting that features cracking sea views, fine dining, impeccable service and a fantastic atmosphere, the Sea View restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
