ASHLEY CROSS favourite Patrick’s Restaurant will be bringing a taste of the tropics to Poole on Saturday with the launch of The Caribbean Summer events in association with D’CoalPot Caribbean Grill.
From 2pm on every last Saturday of the month the popular venue will set guests’ taste buds on fire with the coolest of Caribbean Jerk Pork or Chicken, grilled fish and BBQ chicken hot from the grill.
The holiday vibe will continue inside with the bar serving rum cocktails and playing Caribbean music.
Lizzi Briscoe, manager of Patrick’s, said: “We are excited to be teaming up with Ché Leonard to bring an authentic Caribbean experience to our clientele.
“While we can’t guarantee sunshine, we can be sure that our Caribbean Day will be the hottest day on the calendar.”
The launch night will also double up as the official pre-Festival event for The Bournemouth Food and Drink Festival, which takes place in June.
Ché Leonard, from D’CoalPot Caribbean Grill, explained: “After a successful début at the 2012 Bournemouth Food and Drink Festival, D’CoalPot Caribbean Grill has been invited by the festival organisers to put together a Caribbean Day within the Festival itself.
“We are delighted to be kicking off the festivities at a popular venue like Patrick’s and are looking forward to introducing its customers to a truly tropical taste this summer.”
Patrick’s is open every day from 10am for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
