DISNEY’S Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning musical, will be capturing the minds of young and old this month.
The show, a worldwide smash hit, will be staged at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre from February 21 to 23.
Following their overwhelming success last year with the musical version of Peter Pan, which saw acrobatic flights over the auditorium, Swish of the Curtain will be equally aiming to impress with Beauty and the Beast.
With lavish costumes, flamboyant special effects, magical illusions and flying performers, the true essence of Disney is captured for the audience live on stage.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress.
If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out.
Featuring the animated film’s Academy Award-winning score, with favourites such as Be Our Guest, Belle, and of course, Beauty and the Beast, this classic promises to be the feel-good family show of the year.
Tickets for the show are on sale now from BH Live on 0844 576 3000 or bic.co.uk priced £10 to £17.50.
