WHATEVER happened to comedy legend Rodney Bewes of the Likely Lads fame? Well, the actor will be gracing the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne on Thursday evening with his latest show.
The 75-year-old star, who became a household name in the 1960s and 70s when the hit TV sitcom The Likely Lads aired is bringing his acclaimed one-man show A Boy Growing Up.
The production, which sees the TV funnyman reading a selection of short Dylan Thomas stories in his own inimitable style, premiered at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Rodney has been taking it on the road to venues across the country.
The star, who is celebrating 60 years as an actor this year, received rave reviews for the new show.
