THE award winning Bournemouth Concert Brass are on the trophy trail again as they prepare for the National Brass Championships in Harrogate in September. Before that, they stage Hollywood & Broadway, their annual summer concert, at the Regent Centre, Christchurch on Sunday.
Under the baton of Captain Dave Barringer, director of music for the Royal Corps of Signals Band at Blandford Camp, Bournemouth Concert Brass will play music from his including Chess, South Pacific, 42nd Street, James Bond, Star Wars and The Great Escape, not forgetting their most requested piece of music, the rousing 76 Trombones.
