FOLLOWING the lead of Howard Jones’s 1983 pop hit for his latest show, Richard Herring investigates the world of romance in What Is Love, Anyway?
The comedian has seen previous shows investigate racism and prejudice while trying to reclaim the toothbrush moustache, as well as messing with religion and facing his own mortality.
With love he was able to investigate his own romantic entanglements and dating disasters. Having premiered the show at last year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe – his eighth original show in eight years – he is looking forward to extending some of the themes on tour.
Richard Herring appears at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne on Thursday.
