GRAB your best trilby hat, jiving suit and ration book for a vintage dance lesson at Pavilion Dance. Transport yourself back to the swinging world of the 1940s and learn the dance sensations that took the era by storm. Dance teacher Ruby Adams knows her Lindy Hop from her Jitterbug and brings the music and fashion of the period alive. Her lively classes are suitable for both men and women over the ages of 16.
All dances taught during the course can be danced without a partner. According to Ruby, the vintage scene is very popular at the moment with her dance classes forming part of a retro lifestyle.
The 1940’s Social Dance runs on Wednesday evening at 8.30pm with a new season starting in April.
