FOORD Lee (Lionel) Peacefully on 7th May at the Macmillan Unit, after a long illness. Aged 89 years. Beloved husband, much-loved Stepfather, Step Grandfather and Uncle. Long time Servant, Volunteer and Friend of Poole and Royal Bournemouth Hospitals. Funeral to be held on 5th June at 3pm, at Harbour View, Lytchett Minster. Family flowers only, but donations, if desired, for the Macmillan Unit, c/o Christchurch Hospital.

I was privileged to work with Lee for several years as a governor at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Lee was a person of exceptional character. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
He will be very much missed.
