Such sad news, George and I were apprentices together at Edward Websters, he introduced me to the Pembroke, played football, surfed and spent some memorable holidays. Great fun and a real character. Will miss you. Daz

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of George and I'm sure you have very fond and happy memories with him, l first met George at the Embassy Club in Winton in the early 60's, he also worked at Websters with my mother, then a few years later it was the nightspots of Bmth and the Pembroke Arms on Poole hill that we frequented, lost touch as we all moved on and married, then met George again as he pulled up in his Taxi in the 80's and have a brief chat, l did wonder where he went and seems to have found his happiness with his family and Spain, a great friend and pal RIP George
