JONES Philip Leslie Phil, a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully on 23rd June 2024 aged 92, at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Phil was born in Cardiff and spent his early childhood in Brazil, before attending Monmouth School post-war. He then spent most of his working life in South America, before retiring to Ferndown. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Phil's funeral will be held at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Southbourne BH6 3ER on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at 11am, followed by the committal at Poole & Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground, Colehill BH21 2RG. Refreshments available after the service at Southbourne Beach Care Home, BH6 3DS, for those not attending the burial, followed by a buffet at 2pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Alzheimer's Society & The RNLI.
