Les Miserables - released January 11
We love a good musical and the latest film adaptation of Les Miserables is as big as they come.
The movie is jam-packed with stars including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter - with the cast singing their songs live on set.
This film has Oscar written all over it, surely?
Lincoln - released January 25
Daniel Day-Lewis has received widespread critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination for his performance as Abraham Lincoln.
Steven Spielberg's film focuses on the final four months of Lincoln's life, when, towards the end of the Civil War, the 16th president is trying to guide through the slavery banning 13th Amendment before peace arrives and it is too late.
Hitchcock - released February 8
Anthony Hopkins is unrecognisable as Alfred Hitchcock in the story of the making of his 1960's classic, Psycho. The film focuses on the relationship of 'Hitch and his wife Alma (Helen Mirren) with Scarlett Johansson starring as his leading lady, Janet Leigh.
Star Trek Into Darkness - released May 17
J. J. Abrams is at the helm once again in this follow-up to 2009's Star Trek which sees Chris Pine, Zachery Quinto, Zoe Saldana and Simon Pegg reprise their original roles.
After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to capture a "one man weapon of mass destruction".
The Great Gatsby - released May 17
The roaring 20s come to life in eye-popping 3D courtesy of Australian director Baz Luhrmann in this film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel.
Toby Maguire plays Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner who moves to Long Island and becomes fascinated by his party loving neighbour, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo Dicaprio) while Carey Mulligan plays Daisy, the object of Jay's affections.
It was recently revealed rapper Jay-Z is working on the film's soundtrack.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues - released December 20
Filming hasn't even begun yet but there is already much excitement for the sequel to the 2004 hit comedy.
The cast are all back so who knows what adventures 1970s news anchor Ron Burgundy, his squeeze Veronica Corningstone and chums will get up to.
