One Night in Vienna, Bournemouth Pavilion
A brand new show based on the very best of the Viennese tradition in music and dance is being staged at the Pavilion, featuring showman and conductor Rainer Hersch.
The show promises a light-hearted journey through a sparkling assortment of song and dance, from classic works of the Strauss family including The Blue Danube Waltz, Radetzky March and Songs of Love Waltz, to timeless dance music from Tchaikovsky and Lehar.
Transport yourself back in time to a graceful world of billowing gowns and distinctive elegance.

Bellowhead, Lighthouse Poole
Bigger, bolder, brassier and more brazen than ever, fast-rising stars Bellowhead bring their euphoric brand of folk to Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts on February 15.
The eleven-piece band has recorded four critically-acclaimed albums, graced the cover of many music magazines and been voted Best Live Act at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards four times.
Featuring a four-piece brass section, the band is renowned for its energetic live shows in which members often switch instruments during their performances, often playing more than 20 instruments between them.

Ballet Boyz: The Talent, Lighthouse
Poole Ballet Boyz are back. Following triumphant UK and international appearances on stage and screen, this phenomenally popular company returns with a brand new show featuring ten exceptional young dancers, in an exhilarating evening of exciting and explosive dance.
The Talent 2013 premières two stunning new dance pieces by internationally celebrated choreographers Russell Maliphant and Liam Scarlett.
Led by former Royal Ballet lead dancers Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, the company thrills audiences and critics the world over with its distinctive style, fusing spectacular dance both energetic and graceful, with stunning music and film.

The Artist, Bournemouth Pier Theatre
Arts Bournemouth Cinema presents the multi-award winning The Artist at a live cinema experience at the Pier Theatre as another of its ‘pop-up’ living cinema experiences.
Two screenings take place on February 14, with a matinee at 2pm featuring a cream tea to a backdrop of 1930s tunes, and an evening show at 7pm followed by 1930s-style music and dancing inspired by the film.
For both screenings, cinema-goers are encouraged to dress inspired by the 1920s and 1930s.
