THERE’S a very good phrase to describe those who smashed up the graves at Poole cemetery. It is by no means original but it certainly serves the purpose.
They are the slime of humanity.
They must have thought it was very amusing or at least a good use of their time to wreck the graves and to cause so much devastation to so many lives in the space of a few minutes.
The mother who buried her little baby there eight years ago.
The man whose partner died just last September.
The pensioner left in bits.
All these people now having to deal with further grief and upset, over and above what they have suffered already.
Crime these days seems to have less capacity to shock than it did, but the events at Poole cemetery certainly do.
If you know the scum who did this, report them. They deserve their 15 minutes of fame in the public eye.
