A 23-year-old man has been arrested after 25 graves were trashed in Poole cemetery.
Devastated family members were shocked to find the damage on Saturday.
Headstones were pushed and kicked over, some were broken and items such as floral displays and little wooden crosses for the recently deceased were thrown around and trampled on.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Police Sergeant Ray Willmore, of Poole police, said: “I would like to speak with anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in this area.
“This damage has caused untold stress for the relatives who have loved ones buried at the cemetery.
“This behaviour will not be tolerated and I am appealing for anyone with any information to contact police urgently. Any calls will be dealt with in confidence.”
