IT can cost quite a lot in time and money to make an area look nice.
But it can only take a few minutes to ruin it.
Some vandals appear to trash something simply because it exists.
It doesn’t matter where it is, they will attack it.
You would have thought 40 newly planted trees in Kings Park would not have been a target for yobs.
But how wrong can you be when around 30 of them were snapped in two.
Someone has to pick up the bill for this mindless vandalism and in this case it’s AFC Bournemouth.
The trees were planted around the Cherries’ new training pitch as a requirement of their planning permission for the new facility.
AFC Bournemouth are doing their very best to give the town some positive publicity with their results on the pitch.
What they don’t need right now is extra costs and hassle from louts.
