FIREFIGHTERS are pumping water from Twynham School's playing fields this morning.
Due to the amount of rainfall recently, water levels on the Christchurch school's fields are not receding, leading to the intervention.
Firefighters and police are on the scene assessing how much water they can feasibly remove.
The playing fields at the school regularly suffer from flooding, with rainfall over the summer and a wet winter leaving them particularly waterlogged.
