MORE details about secondary school performance have been released by the Department for Education.

Last week the Daily Echo reported mixed fortunes for Dorset and Hampshire schools when league tables relating to GCSE performance were published.

Huge increases in the percentage of students achieving at least five A*-C grades including English and maths were reported at some schools, including Winton Arts and Media College in Bournemouth and Carter Community in Poole.

Others recorded disappointing figures, many blaming changes to grade boundaries in English GCSE.

Now more tables have been published based on a number of other indicators.
