The Met Office is warning of the potential for more flooding as a band of rain sweeps in tomorrow.
Heavy downpours are forecast across the south during the morning, turning to snow on higher ground.
In Dorset the rain is expected to start around 1am and last until 9am.
Although forecasters say most places should escape with 10-15mm of rain, some areas may see double that, and with the ground still saturated from recent snow and rain, flooding and disruption to travel is possible.
Some roads in the New Forest were closed yesterday due to flooding and the situation is expected to be worse tomorrow.
There are also flood warnings in place for Wareham and a lower level flood alert for Christchurch and the River Avon.
