A WOMAN escaped uninjured when her car was destroyed in a fire, police said.
Traffic built up in the centre of Wimborne after the black Peugeot 307 caught fire at 6pm on Thursday on Rowlands Hill in Wimborne and local firefighters extinguished the blaze.
A fire service spokesman said the fire was believed to have started due to an engine fault.
