POLICE closed a road in West Moors after a three-vehicle crash this morning.
The collision took place on Station Road around 9am at the junction with Woodside Road.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene and closed Station Road at the junction with Moorlands Road and Pinehurst Road.
The main vehicles involved were a red Volkswagen Polo, a blue BMW 320d and a silver Peugeot Expert panel van.
Police at the scene said a Ford Mondeo was also at the scene at the time.
The road was shut between Moorlands Road and Woodside Avenue but had re-opened by around 10.55am.
One man was reported to have head injuries and neck pain and a second ambulance was called.
Randolph Hughes, who lives on Station Road, came to look when he saw traffic building up.
He said three cars had been involved in a "concertina" collision.
He saw fire fighters remove the roof of the red VW Polo.
"The back of the red car was pushed right in. It's a good job nobody was in the back," he said.
Witnesses said they saw two drivers being taken away by ambulance.
