A TEENAGE boy was left with cuts to his head and hand after being robbed by three men in a residential area of Poole.
The 16-year-old was near the Sweet Home Inn in Ringwood Road when he was approached by the trio, all in their late teens to early twenties. They demanded the youth’s mobile telephone and assaulted him.
The men grabbed the phone, but after the attack, the 16-year-old found it not far away from him.
Two of the three muggers were about 5ft 7ins tall and wore dark clothing. The third was about 6ft tall and was dressed in a dark top and grey trouser bottoms.
The robbery took place at around 11pm on Thursday January 31 but details have only just been released by the police.
Det Cons Wendy Stout of Poole and Bournemouth CID said: “This was an unprovoked attack. I urge anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone who saw a group matching the description to call police as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call the police on 101 with incident number 31:510, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
