THIEVES have broken into a white van in Poole and stolen a pressure washer and tools.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following the theft from the van parked outside a property at Canford Heath over the weekend.
It took place between 6pm on Saturday and 11.15am on Sunday along Plantation Road.
The missing items from the Iveco box van are a Comet pressure washer costing around £700 and a bag of tools thought to be worth around £100.
PC Paul Craig of Poole police said: “The theft of these expensive items caused great financial loss and inconvenience to the owner.
“He also faces a substantial repair bill to fix the damage caused to his vehicle.
“I am keen to trace the stolen property and speak to anyone who has been offered tools or a pressure washer in strange circumstances, possibly for an unusually low cash sum.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this theft take place, or may have information about those involved.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should contact Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident 03:250 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
