STUDENTS from Bournemouth School for Girls are celebrating after winning a prestigious public speaking competition.
Tibaba Adeniyi, Charlotte MacDonald and Ellie MacDonald were victorious after their presentation, entitled: “We have a moral duty to intervene in countries where governments are oppressing the people.”
They came up against four other schools when they travelled to Salisbury for the southern region final of the English-Speaking Union (ESU) Public Speaking Competition.
The girls were delighted to receive book tokens from David Stratton, President of the Salisbury and South Region of the ESU.
