PARENTS at a top Bournemouth school were thrilled to be recognised for their efforts for the London 2012 Olympics.
The Talbot Heath Parents Stitching Group made pendants and banners as part of the Quilts4London initiative, aimed at representing the English way of life.
They were distributed to athletes and group members were thrilled when they received a recent email of thanks from the Canadian Paralympic Team.
It was from Executive Assistant Eric Paterson who said: “Your colourful contribution to Canada Paralympic House helped make the space warm and inviting and made our athletes feel at home throughout the Games.”
