YEAR 5 pupil Ben May, aged nine, said: “I have been here since nursery and I have made a lot of nice friends. I enjoy maths and art and there are a lot of good clubs in this school.”

NATHANIEL Galton, 10, is in Year 6. He said: “There are great after school clubs and I do dodgeball and free running. I get a really good education here and I really like maths. I do some lessons with teachers from the Oak Academy.”

APPRENTICE teaching assistant Beth Tyers has been at the school since September. She said: “When I came here everyone was really welcoming so I settled in straightaway. There are a lot of people prepared to help you.

NEWLY Qualified Teacher Becky Cox said: “As an NQT you need a lot of support and they have been amazing here. The children are happy and well-behaved and we take them on trips as part of our topics.”

PARENT Melissa May has a son in Year 5 and two older children who have now left the school. She said: “It is a very good school and they have been very supportive of my son’s educational needs. My children have been very happy here.”

JENNY Galton, whose two children have attended the school, said: “Nathaniel is in the school’s Gifted and Talented unit and they spotted his potential when he was in the nursery. They have been brilliant here – I couldn’t praise them more.”
