“Most recently the Fernheath Cricket Pavilion has been targeted.
“Unfortunately the cost of repairs and replacements has to come from the money that would otherwise be used to benefit the local community.
“I am urging anyone who may have information about these arsons, or may have details about those responsible, to contact police in the strictest confidence as soon as possible.”
No arrests have been made.
Witnesses and anyone with information is urged to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident numbers 04:89 and 05:97, or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
