POOLE’S Buff Bikers are continuing their charity fundraising events with a Rock and Roast next month.
The bikers – who stripped off for a tongue-in-the-cheek charity calendar before Christmas – will be holding their ‘crackling’ family night out at Newton Conservative Club in Ringwood Road at 8pm on Saturday, March 16.
The event includes a hog roast (veggie option available) and live music from the original Rock Doctors. All are welcome, but tickets must be bought in advance from buffbikers.co.uk Profits will go to Riders for Health, which funds the delivery of healthcare to remote villages in Africa using motorcycles.
Rich and Maria Carter, who came up with idea for the calendar, plan to produce two for next year – one depicting men and the other women.
They are aiming to visit Zambia in 2014 to see the work of Riders of Health and are aiming to take a £4,000 donation as well as paying all their own expenses.
