A WOMAN was left “extremely shocked” after someone smashed the windows of her caravan as she slept inside.
The 53-year-old was showered with glass after two windows of her static caravan, at Crumpets Farm Drive, Lytchett Matravers, were smashed out with a brick.
The attack, described as “callous” by police, is the third time the caravan has been targeted in just three months.
This latest attack happened in the early hours of Monday (February 11) morning.
Police constable Mari Montgomery, of Purbeck Police, confirmed: “The victim, a 53-year-old woman, was asleep in her bed at the time of the incident and the glass from the broken window shattered all over her.
“This callous act has left the victim extremely shocked. It is the third incident of criminal damage in three months she has been subjected to and enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.
“I am asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information about those responsible, to contact police in confidence.”
