POLICE investigating a danger drug thought to be circulating in Poole have arrested a 32-year-old man from the town. He has been released on police bail until April while police enquiries are ongoing.
It follows a drugs warning issued after two men, believed to have taken the illegal controlled drug Thai Valium, collapsed at Ashley Cross on Saturday night. The men, aged 28 and 41, required hospital treatment after falling unconscious in the street around 6pm.
The men were thought to have taken the drug which comes in the form of blue capsules in blister packs of 10. Anyone who has purchased a similar drug is urged to take them to a police station, hospital or drug clinic. Call Dorset Police with information on 101 quoting incident number 09:373.
