A man has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a woman in a Bournemouth subway.
Tomasz Skolmowski, 27, of St Paul's Road, Bournemouth, is accused of attacking the woman in the early hours of February 1, this year in the subway which links Holdenhurst Road with the travel interchange and the town centre.
Skolmowski, represented by Mark Price, appeared before Bournemouth Magistrates' Court this morning and spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
Mr Price said Skolmowski is a Polish national and has been living in the Uk for around five years. He works as a maintenance engineer at Cobhams in Hurn.
Skolmowski was released on conditional bail to appear at Bournemouth crown court on April 22 for a plea and case management hearing.
