BRYANSTON School students have taken up baking as an extra-curricular activity.
Ten pupils have enrolled on a bread-making for beginners course and even raised £350 for good causes with a mass bread bake for the school's charities weekend.
One student is learning to bake as his skill for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the group have tackled breads as diverse as focaccia and ciabatta.
