ESSENTIAL repairs to one of Bournemouth’s busiest stretches of road will take place on three consecutive nights next week.
The emergency works will be carried out at two locations on Richmond Hill and in Richmond Gardens at its junction with Richmond Hill, starting at midnight on Monday.
As Richmond Gardens is the only access to the multi-storey Richmond Gardens car park, the work will be undertaken at night to minimise disruption.
During these times, cones and barriers will be in place at various locations.
Stuart Best, street services manager, said: “Richmond Gardens and Richmond Hill are heavily used sections of the highway and that is why the decision has been made to carry out these urgent works at night.
“The works will include resurfacing sections of the road and pothole repairs and is scheduled to take three nights to complete.”
